Bold and Beautiful: Our Favorite Granite Kitchen Sinks

February 11th, 2012

Granite is an igneous rock that developed as magma cooled over millions of years. It can be mined, cut and polished for a beautiful finish. Granite forms in a variety of beautiful colors including: red, blue, brown, green, orange, white and other natural colors. Apart from the beauty of granite, it possesses an incredible strength, durability and longevity. When homebuilders are designing areas that typically experience a lot of wear and tear, like the kitchen, they often utilize granite elements to get the job done. Homeowners love granite because it’s hygienic and easy to clean. The Styleture team loves granite because it looks like a million bucks in the kitchen. That’s why we’ve picked some of our favorite granite sinks to share with you:

To commemorate the occasion, we thought these Victorian-inspired items might resonate with fans of the show. In fact, we’d be so bold to say that their addition could instantly elevate one’s abode from ordinary homestead to lavish manorhood. Read the rest of this entry »
