March 23rd, 2010The best designs in architecture and product design seem to be born of ideas that are seemingly familiar, yet at the same time bring you somewhere new and exciting. When designing contemporary faucets or fixtures, the temptation is to look at what has come before and simply improve upon that design. That’s not the way the designers from GRAFF® think about design. With the Fontaine and Stealth Collections, it’s as if the designers took ‘walk-abouts’ through the concrete and steel jungles of various cities and eras and filtered out the noise to come up with a line of sculptural gems. Reminiscent of skylines and deco skyscrapers, these odes to brick and steel are architectural wonders. Used in high-end bath settings, they produce a singular skyline silhouette of their own. Swooping, sweeping, glamorous, contemporary, elegant – need we go on?
