Featured Design: Troy Lighting Contract Division Shines Bright in Sagewood

Featured Design: Sagewood Continuing Care Retirement Community

High-design is not necessarily the first thing one envisions when contemplating the style of an “old folks” home. But with Sagewood CCRC (Continuing Care Retirement Community) in sunny Phoenix, Arizona, high-design is exactly what has been achieved. The design firm, Studio Six 5, responsible for creating the community’s seamless blend of southwestern aesthetics and modern style, further enhanced the design elements by tapping Troy Lighting Contract Division to take on the task of designing a variety of custom created lighting fixtures. This included meeting the challenges of the architectural structures and engineering requirements of the project.

Known for their lighting fixtures created from hand-forged iron and hand-applied finishes, Troy installed a variety of custom created lighting fixtures including foyer pendants, fabric shade pendants and wall sconces, in various rooms and areas of Sagewood. They even developed a customized system to mount the fixtures on the building’s decorative structural beams. The final result was the creation of a look and feel that perfectly complemented the architectural design elements of the building.

Based on our tour of the Sagewood property, the editorial team at Styleture unanimously agrees that retirement never looked so good!
