There is no denying the circle’s place in history – everyone knows that the invention of the wheel literally moved human evolution forward from its previous position of walking while carrying objects. As a design element, the circle signifies many things; completion, wholeness – even spirituality. In architecture, the circle really provides the most economical form of shelter. Round houses are used in the Arctic and at the equator. Whether it’s for comfort, for economy, for children’s cartoon characters, or to illustrate that star above we call the sun, circles are an intriguing and surprisingly delightful shape when used in design.

Adorning the circle with distinctive industrial-chic hammered accents; the Touch27 Series is reflective of Clodagh’s tactile design aesthetic. Known for her love of, and use of organic shapes and materials, it’s no surprise that Clodagh would create a round handle that begs to be touched. The finish on the Touch27 shown seems almost a little sun-kissed itself. More on these faucets.
